Thornton is fourth generation in the investment industry. Before joining Brown Ruth Advisors, he was in the marketing field as both a Client Service Specialist with Brierley+Partners and Marketing Project Specialist at Republic Property Group. He has also spent many summers while in school helping Jack, Ken and Peter around the office.
Thornton is an investment advisor and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.
After graduating from Baylor University with a BBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, he returned to Dallas where in his spare time, Thornton enjoys playing golf, spending time outdoors, traveling with friends and family and being involved in the Young Adult community at Highland Park United Methodist Church. He is also involved in the Dallas Metroplex YMCA Scholarship Program and assists with the financial aid process for incoming college freshmen.
